Church Building in Irbeet Completed 09.28.09

The Good News Church in Irbeet, Russia, has wanted their own church building for many years. Working alongside friends from America, they have now completed work and will be beginning a new chapter in their church life. The building is set to officially open on Sunday, October 18, with a celebration of Russian harvest, much like American Thanksgiving. Invitations have been distributed across the city, and plans are underway for a wonderful celebration. Praise the Lord with us for blessing this small congregation and for opening the door for a church in America to play a large role in seeing the new church building erected. Pray for the upcoming celebration, and ask that many would come to Christ as a result of the ministry of this church. (posted 09.28.09)
