Four members of First Baptist Church of Fayetteville, Arkansas, recently came to Russia for the purpose of forming a partnership with the “Spring of Life” Church in Ekaterinburg (our first church-to-church partnership in this city). The exploratory team did an outstanding job of preparing and used some very effective and creative ideas, such as distributing bookmarks and refrigerator magnets featuring pictures of both churches and a call to prayer.  In addition to building a strong relationship with the church, the team from FBC Fayetteville was also able to help the church begin a new point of ministry at a nearby shelter for the homeless. The team did an outstanding job laying the foundation for a new partnership. Please pray for both churches as they begin to partner together to share the Gospel. (posted 10.17.09)
